The result of Visual Organizers in Students' Writing
The objective of this action research project was to study the effects of graphic organizers, particularly a concept map, on students' writing. Each of our school feels that writing is the key to success, and so writing teaching is a concern. I was specifically interested in looking into students' producing through image organizers with personal story writing encourages given in the classroom. Graphic organizers will help writers stick to the topic with their tips in front of them as they are writing. In addition they help the writer to keep issues in the correct sequential purchase. Graphic organizers are credited to be tools that can guidebook students throughout the four periods of the composing process: prewriting, drafting, studying, and submitting and showing. This study investigated whether there would be virtually any significant difference in scores between students' publishing with the use of visual organizers and students' composing without the use of graphic organizers. One third-grade class was involved in the 6-week study, and was given two personal story writing tasks. The two composing assignments had been each graded using a writing rubric provided by the Atlanta Department of Education. Effects indicated the students using the graphic coordinators showed an improvement in their creative writing. Great Abstract! Launch
